Presentation Guidelines

Instructions for Oral Presentation

· A presentation slide (PPT and PDF file) and a presenter's short biography (word file) must be submitted to secretariat before the session so that they will be ready at the beginning of the session.

Presentation slide: Please follow the instructions below.
: Please bring your presentation file on USB memory stick and submit it to the staff of each presentation room at least 15 minutes before each session starts. The operator will load the presentation files to the laptop PC. (* Check your data with antivirus software in advance.)

- If you desire to send your presentation file, please send it to secretariat@iwjc2017.org by March 31, 2017. And the file will be terminated from both email and computer after the conference.

Presenter’s short biography
: Please send presenter’s short biography (word file) before March 31, 2017 to secretariat@iwjc2017.org.

Presentation Time

· Time reserved for each presentation is:
• Keynote & Invited Presentation : 30 minutes - 25 min. presentation + 5 min. Q&A
• Regular Oral Presentation : 20 minutes – 15 min. presentation + 5 min. Q&A
  * A bell will ring once after 12 minutes.

· All speakers are kindly requested to strictly observe their allotted presentation time.

· The chair will open, time and close sessions. Speakers are requested to follow the chairs’ lead.

· Speakers are requested to attend at least their own sessions from the beginning to the end. Session chairs may announce some information about their sessions.

Preparing Presentation Slides

· Presentation file should be prepared in MS-PowerPoint format in English.

· Please be sure to make the slides so that all characters, numbers and graphics will be legible in black and white prints.

· Macintosh users should save the presentation compatible to Microsoft PowerPoint.

· Compressed data files cannot be decompressed on the prepared PC at the forum.

· After creating your presentation data, please make sure that it also works on other PCs.

Audio Visual Equipment

· The Secretariat will provide a PC in each session rooms. All presentations should be conducted by using this PC.

· Each session room will be equipped with the following facilities;
  * PC: Windows 7 or later, PowerPoint 2010 or later, Acrobat reader
  * Smart pointer and mouse
  *Beam projector (RGB Port) and Screen

Venue for Oral Presentation

· Venue: HICO 1F, Room 101 ~ 106 · Once onsite every presenter should verify in the Final program that the venue and the time of the session have not changed.
